Open a Wave
Go to the app, enter your name, choose how many people can join, and optionally set a password. Hit Open Wave — your private session is created instantly. No account, no email, no waiting.
Share the Invite Link
Copy your Wave link and send it to whoever you want — via WhatsApp, SMS, email, or any other channel. The link is the only key. Anyone with it (and the password, if you set one) can join directly.
Chat & Send Files
Messages and files travel directly device-to-device via WebRTC — no server in the middle. You'll see live typing indicators as the other person types. Use the 📎 button to attach files.
Close the Wave
When everyone leaves, the Wave closes automatically. No history is saved anywhere — not on your device, not on a server, not anywhere. The conversation is gone for good. That's by design.

📁 Why is there a file size limit?
Free Waves support files up to 10MB — enough for images, documents, and small APKs. For large files, upgrade to Pro once with a license key.

Can anyone see my messages?
No. Messages travel directly between devices using WebRTC DTLS encryption. There is no server that relays or stores your messages — not even NeoWave can see them.
What happens if I close the browser?
Your Wave closes and all messages are gone. Nothing is saved to any server or device. The invite link also stops working immediately.
Do I need to create an account?
Never. Just enter a name, open a Wave, and share the link. NeoWave has no accounts, no emails, no passwords required (unless you set one for your Wave).
What is the 🔒 lock on participant options?
The lock icon on the 5, 10, and ∞ participant options means those tiers are Pro-only. Free Waves support a maximum of 2 people. Upgrade with a one-time license key to unlock all limits.
Does Pro require a monthly subscription?
No. It's a one-time payment. You get a license key from Gumroad, activate it in the app, and your Pro features are unlocked in that browser permanently — no recurring charges.
Can I use NeoWave on mobile?
Yes. NeoWave works on any device with a WebRTC-capable browser — Android, iOS, Windows, Mac. No app install needed.
